About The Position

Facilities Construction Supervisor Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities and staff for the Construction and Interior Design department. Oversee design and construction efforts to support remodels, staff changes and project requests from Auto Club Enterprise territories. Offer technical leadership in the development of design and construction projects to control cost, effect standards and accomplish adequate facilities to meet the needs of the organization. Review and recommend changes in present products utilized in design and construction to maintain Club standards. Responsibilities Review contracts and monitor compliance of same with regards to architects, consultants, contractors, and other providers Assign staff to support task requests based on timing and availability; provide temporary project management for others as needed. Ensure all projects are staffed appropriately to be completed on time and on budget. Evaluate and determine cost effective methods of construction, design and maintenance for existing and new facilities. Recommend the most cost-effective course of action in planning a facility including the area of maintenance repairs and upgrades to existing facilities. Review and approve financial costs on all construction projects to ensure that the project costs are within the approved budget. Work with the city and other governing agencies to obtain approvals and inspections needed for completion and occupancy. Keep current on all Building and Fire Safety codes to prevent costly field problems from occurring during design and construction of facilities. Estimate costs for goals and requests for remodels, relocations and new construction. Maintain accurate records and data for reference. Oversee and maintain and/or project scheduled, coordinating materials and labor required to complete remodels and new construction projects. Recommend contractors for construction projects and maintenance services, including any change orders as necessary, for the cost effectiveness of the project. Supervise the development of all legal contractual documents pertaining to construction, design and maintenance to ensure that the Club's interests are protected. Participate in executive meetings as a representative of Facilities Planning and Services Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or related field. 10 years of Architectural and Design Planning or Construction Management Required 5 years preferred team management Creating and managing budgets Comprehensive knowledge of how to read and understand architectural, engineering plans and specifications is required. Ability to effectively communicate with several types and levels of staff and external contacts, both in writing and verbally. Advanced organization, time management, planning, and problem resolution skills required. Advanced computer skills with Microsoft office programs required Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Proof of auto insurance required at the time of hire. #LI-LG1 The starting pay range for this position is: $97,200.00 - $129,300.00 Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance. . Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or related field.
  • 10 years of Architectural and Design Planning or Construction Management Required
  • Creating and managing budgets
  • Comprehensive knowledge of how to read and understand architectural, engineering plans and specifications is required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with several types and levels of staff and external contacts, both in writing and verbally.
  • Advanced organization, time management, planning, and problem resolution skills required.
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft office programs required
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
