About The Position

This position is responsible for providing a safe and clean living and learning environment for students, staff and University guests by responding to the daily cleaning and maintenance of housing facilities with a focus on sustainability and customer services. Staff can assume they will execute cleaning duties, moving of furniture, minor repairs, and other duties as assigned which support our daily operations.

• Ability to consistently meet performance expectations by following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Perform the technical support duties of the designated area of hire according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Follow supervisor/assistant supervisor instructions for daily priorities and task completion.
• Follow all safety guidelines as trained.
• Arrive punctually according to work schedule, and track hours worked correctly through the timekeeping electronic platform.
• Communicate regularly and proactively with supervisor about any concerns such personal/sick leave needs, questions regarding procedures or policies, or any challenges which may arise.
• Adhere to all expectations and guidelines as specified in the HDS-F Hourly Employee
