Requirements

Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of team members and guests at all times.
Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
High school diploma or equivalent. Some technical school training and certification is preferred
Two (2) plus years' experience in maintenance in a commercial facility. Valid driver's license may be necessary.
You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards.

Responsibilities

Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities of the Live! Casino and Hotel property.
Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators.
Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property.
Preventative maintenance as scheduled on all equipment
Responsible to ensure thorough the proper maintenance and repair of the Live! Casino and Hotel facility the safety and security of all guests and team members.
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts.
Operate all types of hand tools, power tools, and machinery that relate to the function of a maintenance shop. Chemicals used in maintenance. Ladders, bucket truck, forklift, and safety equipment.
Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude. Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guest.
Other duties as assigned
