Requirements

• Ability to walk, kneel, stoop, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Greet parking guests.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance of public areas.
• Oversee Museum parking lots and notify Operations Manager of overnight vehicles or arrange for towing if needed.
• Inspect public spaces of the Museum, JFK Memorial Plaza, and parking lot for cleanliness and emergency repairs.
• Assist in walk-throughs of outside areas including the parking lot, 411 store, reading room, and all events.
• Ensure the parking lot is set up for special events, including securing cones and barricades.
• Issue parking violation tickets.
• Ensure parking lot safety by overseeing the lot and informing Security of any suspicious activity via radio.
• Resolve parking disputes.
• Provide directions to parking guests visiting the Sixth Floor Museum and surrounding areas.
• Ensure the parking lot is clean by picking up litter and debris.
• Immobilize vehicles that are in violation.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
