About The Position

The position involves performing various administrative functions under moderate supervision, following standard procedures while exercising some independent judgment. The primary responsibility is to maintain the buildings and grounds of the company by executing a range of duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains company facility and other company-owned properties by performing activities such as making minor and routine repairs.
  • Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and other equipment.
  • Records mileage, changes oil, and performs other activities on company vehicles.
  • Cleans and maintains work areas and equipment.
  • Cleans restrooms.
  • Provides daily snacks/drinks for employees by ordering and shopping for supplies and preparing food/drinks.
  • Ensures maintenance of grounds by mowing lawns, watering, weeding, grooming, and replacing external and internal plants as needed.
  • Removes snow, litter, or other items from the grounds.
  • Decorates the interior or exterior of company facilities for various holidays.
  • May provide leadership to junior staff through guidance and training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
