If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you. Our Distribution Center is looking for a dynamic and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position. It is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that has the rare mix of being a fun, yet high-paced and professional work environment. The successful candidate will be well-rounded in industrial mechanical and electrical skills, repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience with electrical and/or mechanical repair, assembly, and troubleshooting
  • 1+ years of experience with hand and power tools
  • Physical capabilities: standing, walking, pushing/pulling/lifting to 50lbs unassisted, squatting, bending, and twisting throughoutthe entire shift
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without direct supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing preventative maintenance (PMs), troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyors
  • Experience with various electronic and electro-mechanical systems
  • Previous work experience in a distribution center environment

Responsibilities

  • Conveyor system maintenance and repair (including rollers and electronics troubleshooting)
  • Maintaining associated systems like printers, strappers
  • Power equipment maintenance and operation
  • Weather response duties
  • 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies
  • Preventative maintenance on dock doors, levelers, and locks
  • Daily freezer/cooler inspections with reporting requirements
  • Light electrical and plumbing work
  • Battery area maintenance
  • Supporting testing procedures
  • Coordinating with external vendors
