About The Position

Grayhill, Inc. designs and manufacturers intuitive human interface solutions that make life simpler, safer and more efficient. The Facilities Associate II will coordinate the maintenance functions for the LaGrange and McCook campus including the corporate office building, manufacturing buildings, storage buildings, parking garage and designated lots and landscaped areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must have Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school experience in either HVAC or electrical.
  • Experience with MaintainX CMMS program.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain facility's internal and external environmental systems in efficient working order.
  • Provide housekeeping and maintenance support throughout LaGrange and McCook facilities.
  • Independently perform minor repairs and improvements in a variety of trades such as painting, drywall repairs, minor electric, plumbing, carpentry, and minor HVAC under the direction of the Facilities Leader.
  • Maintain all external properties including sidewalks, parking lots and landscaped areas.
  • Create and track work orders with the facility CMMS program.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance along with visually inspecting and testing equipment and building systems for proper functionality.
  • Ensure a clean maintenance room with adequate supplies and expendable tools are available at all times in a neat proper order and manage levels of inventory with the assistance of leader.
  • Assist Facilities Leader with safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance standards.
  • Respond to associate concerns and suggestions regarding facility equipment safety.
  • Assist Facility Leader with periodic building inspections for future improvements.
  • Maintain paper and toner replenishment along with trash and environmental recycling.
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of corporate events.
