Position Summary: The Facilities Technician at Vertiv is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility by performing routine maintenance, equipment repairs, and building upkeep. This hands-on role ensures that all systems, machinery, and infrastructure are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to facility-related work orders, troubleshooting issues and resolving them effectively to reduce downtime. Assist in equipment installations, moves, and general facility modifications. Monitor and maintain building infrastructure including restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and office space to ensure cleanliness and functionality. Work closely with contractors and vendors during repairs or project work; escort and monitor as needed for safety and compliance. Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs for equipment and work performed. Support workplace safety initiatives by identifying hazards and ensuring equipment and tools meet safety standards. Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and basic groundskeeping duties as needed (site-dependent). Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, and notify leadership when reorder is needed. Follow all Vertiv safety policies and procedures, promoting a clean and hazard-free work environment.
