About The Position

The Facilities Associate/CDL Class A Driver role involves coordinating facilities changes and improvements, maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors, and communicating changes to facility occupants. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • CDL Class A with Passenger endorsement required.
  • Some relevant work experience or intermediate level knowledge.
  • Ability to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must maintain a neat and clean appearance at customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate facilities changes and improvements.
  • Maintain relationships with various suppliers and vendors.
  • Communicate changes and improvements to affected facility occupants.
  • Provide project management, design, quotes, scheduling, and coordination for facility-related projects.
  • Schedule work and special projects for the assigned facility.
  • Negotiate cost reductions with suppliers.
  • Conduct improvements and needs analyses.
  • Assist with planning for changes and improvements.
  • Manage budgets for approval processes and create purchase orders.
  • Coordinate real estate and construction project implementation.
  • Update, edit, and print CAD layouts and master plans.
  • Manage floor space and office space within the master plan.
  • Coordinate installation of communications equipment.
  • Participate in improvement processes and audits.
  • Perform delivery driver duties including daily driving to/from customer sites.
  • Manage stock levels, shipping and receiving parts, and inventory management.
  • Participate in health and safety compliance tasks.
