The UEIS (University Education and Information Services) division at Carnegie Mellon University supports various interdisciplinary programs and administrative functions within the university. It oversees areas such as the University Libraries, the IDeATe (Integrative Design, Arts, and Technology) program, the Entertainment Technology Center (ETC), Sustainability initiatives, and Hunt Botanical resources. The division includes roles in external relations, advancement, project management, and financial administration, playing a crucial role in facilitating educational and research initiatives at CMU. The Facility Assistant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Technology Lending Office and will also be tasked with general maintenance and upkeep of assigned spaces in Hunt Library. This role will work closely with the operations team to ensure that the building is welcoming for students, staff, and faculty. The Facility Assistant acts as a point of contact for building occupants, addressing their concerns, and coordinating maintenance and cleaning activities.
