As the Facilities Asset Management Program Manager, you will optimally and sustainably manage the Airports Authority's infrastructure assets. This position serves in the Planning Department of the Office of Engineering at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). You will implement and manage the Airports Authority's facility asset management program in a manner consistent with the Enterprise Asset Management Policy. Your role will involve managing and optimizing infrastructure investments including acquisition, operations, preventative/predictive maintenance, rehabilitation, replacement, and disposal to achieve acceptable levels of service. Additionally, you will prepare benefit cost analysis(s) on recommended facility improvements and serve as a technical expert and advisor regarding enterprise asset management for various facilities such as terminals, concourses, hangars, roads, parking structures, support facilities, office buildings, and other facilities.

  • Manage and optimize infrastructure investments including acquisition, operations, preventative/predictive maintenance, rehabilitation, replacement, and disposal.
  • Implement and manage the Airports Authority's facility asset management program.
  • Prepare benefit cost analysis(s) on recommended facility improvements.
  • Serve as a technical expert and advisor on enterprise asset management for various facilities.
  • Coordinate the development of asset management plans including long range maintenance and recapitalization.
  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience with large facility portfolio asset management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Supply Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of asset management programs.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate the development of asset management plans.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques including strategic planning.
  • Ability to evaluate asset conditions and recommend long-term strategies for capital investment.
  • Skill in using computer and office suite software, with emphasis on specialized software for facility asset management.
  • Ability to make detailed analyses of data and information and make recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical audiences effectively.
  • Experience managing assets in an integrated business management system, such as Workday, Maximo, and BUILDER.
