About The Position

The Facilities and Production Maintenance Manager will oversee all aspects of facilities operations, maintenance, and improvements for cGMP production areas and non-GMP office spaces. This role includes managing a team, coordinating with vendors, overseeing critical systems, and handling tenant improvement projects, while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a cGMP or regulated environment.
  • Proven experience managing a team and handling tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, WFI, boiler, and compressed air systems.
  • Proficiency in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications in HVAC or electrical trades a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cGMP, OSHA, and environmental health and safety regulations.

  • Relevant certifications in HVAC, electrical, or other facilities trades.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of facilities mechanics and technicians.
  • Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all critical facility systems, including HVAC and WFI systems.
  • Select, manage, and coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and projects.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee tenant improvement projects and facility upgrades.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize the facilities budget, tracking expenses and controlling costs.
  • Establish and oversee a robust preventative and predictive maintenance program.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs for non-GMP areas, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Supervise routine calibration and monitoring of environmental systems to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and lead safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, project timelines, and budget reports.
