Under general supervision, performs a variety of repair and routine semi-skilled maintenance for regional facilities. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to; equipment repair, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work. Has available and operates a variety of maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment; and performs related work as required. Performs a variety of routine semi-skilled maintenance for District facilities, including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work. Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Keeping equipment, spaces, structures and infrastructure in proper operating condition. Performs equipment repairs and works with subject matter experts as necessary. Maintenance, installation, and repair of IT infrastructure. Assembles, repairs, maintains, and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures. Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to supervisor. Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to supervisor. Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required. Assist GM with supervising custodial staff and tasks. Assists with structural pest control measures. Clocks in and out at each facility. Maintains records and logs of daily activities. Assists with regional special events, as needed. Performs related duties, as assigned.
