About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of Ford of Helena facilities and grounds. This position ensures that the dealership’s buildings, service shops, and exterior areas are safe, clean, and in proper working condition. The Facilities Supervisor will perform routine maintenance, respond to repair requests, and coordinate with outside vendors as needed to support the operational needs of the dealership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of facility maintenance or building repair experience required.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in varying weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting.
  • Maintain and repair dealership facilities, including showrooms, offices, service bays, and restrooms.

  • Perform seasonal grounds maintenance such as snow removal, ice control, lawn care, and landscaping tasks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and building regulations.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects when necessary.
  • Support special dealership events and projects with facility setup and tear-down as needed.
  • Organize and maintain the display of vehicles on the lot according to Helena Motors' standards and seasonal promotions.
  • Manage vehicle logistics, including receiving new inventory, dealer trades, service loaners, and outgoing sold vehicles.
  • Oversee vehicle staging for customer test drives, special events, service needs, and dealership marketing displays.
  • Ensure all vehicles are fueled, cleaned, stickered, and photo-ready prior to being listed or shown.
  • Maintain lot cleanliness, including snow removal, debris pickup, and touch-up of display vehicles.
  • Monitor and secure vehicle keys, inventory, and lot access at all times.
  • Complete regular lot audits, identifying missing inventory, needed maintenance, and cosmetic issues.
  • Install window stickers, buyers' guides, and promotional materials in compliance with dealership and legal standards.
  • Move and park vehicles safely, efficiently, and carefully across the lot, including assisting with service drive overflow.
  • Coordinate with sales and service teams to prioritize vehicle readiness and lot appearance.
  • Report vehicle or property damage immediately to the Sales Manager or General Manager.
