About The Position

Are you passionate about working in a childcare facility and supporting the cleanliness and maintenance of the building? The Learning Experience seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping team member to join our team as an ambassador of happiness. You'll play a key role in making a difference in the lives of children, their families, and communities by keeping our center clean, and completing some minor housekeeping tasks daily. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the childcare facility, including classrooms, restrooms, common areas, and staff spaces. Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, laundry, and floor care in accordance with childcare health and safety standards. Support basic facilities needs, including setting up and breaking down rooms, monitoring supplies, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns to leadership. Follow all proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control procedures to ensure a healthy environment for children, staff, and families. Assist with inventory tracking and restocking of cleaning, sanitation, and facility supplies as required by local and state regulations. Work collaboratively with the Center Leadership team and teaching staff to ensure the facility remains organized, functional, and welcoming. Provide friendly and professional interactions with children, families, and staff, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong communication skills. Remain flexible and adaptable to the daily operational needs of a childcare center, including occasional support with special projects or events.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work a schedule of 11am-8pm, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
