The position is primarily responsible for industrial painting, which includes preparing surfaces and selecting the appropriate paint to ensure high-quality results that meet established standards. In addition to painting, the specialist will perform routine maintenance on equipment related to building and grounds upkeep. The role requires skills in industrial painting, carpentry, drywall installation, plumbing, and masonry to address minor repairs and enhancements. Seasonal responsibilities include snow removal during winter months, ensuring safe and accessible environments for all.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
• Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, crouching, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial painting including preparing surfaces and selecting appropriate paint.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment related to building and grounds upkeep.
• Address minor repairs and enhancements in carpentry, drywall installation, plumbing, and masonry.
• Perform snow removal during winter months.
• Complete daily work orders and ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate Power Industrial Equipment such as Forklift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift.
• Repair and maintain building man doors, overhead, highspeed, dock lock.
• Engage in other projects as assigned.
