About The Position

North Kitsap School District is hiring responsible, capable people to be Facility Aide/Sound Techs and to serve as representatives of the district to the community. Events may take place on a regular weekly basis or occasional short-term schedule AND will be on-call weekdays or weekends. This is an on-call position.

Requirements

• Strong people skills - will be working with district staff, students and the public

Responsibilities

• Unlock school facilities for community group use on the weekends and/or evenings
• Provide general supervision for these events
• Ensure that North Kitsap School District regulations are followed by the group
• Work closely with the District Facility Scheduler to ensure that everything concerning each event runs smoothly
• Set up microphones and recording when needed
• Operate sound equipment and sound board
• Have some knowledge of light board in an auditorium setting

Benefits

• Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours an employee is anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 - August 31). This position is NOT anticipated to meet the requirement of 630 hours of employment in a school/fiscal year to qualify for benefits.
