Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Emergency Room Facilitator provides leadership and oversight across all shifts for assigned nursing units. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clinical supervision of assigned staff, including time and attendance management, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Coordination of unit operations in collaboration with other departments to ensure effective and efficient patient care across all age groups. Active participation on hospital committees as assigned. In partnership with the Director of Nursing, the Facilitator is accountable for achieving quality outcomes, enhancing patient satisfaction, managing fiscal responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Facilitator may assume the duties of the Director of Nursing as directed or in their absence. This role will perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Assume the duties of the Director of Nursing as directed or in their absence.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Strong demonstration of clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in related area of nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
  • Previous healthcare management experience.
