We are seeking passionate Product Design technical experts who are eager to nurture the next generation of technologists and creatives. We take pride in creating a vibrant community of expert facilitators who possess deep industry knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and guiding students. In this contractor opportunity, a facilitator will guide a small class of up to 5 learners through online coursework. Utilizing the curriculum and technology provided by Flatiron School, your primary focus will be facilitating a weekly 1-hour discussion during the course, as well as providing personalized asynchronous written and video feedback on projects assigned during the course. There are three different courses: * Essentials: Design Techniques, Responsible Design, Visual Design. * UX Foundations: User Research, Research Process, User Experience. * UI Foundations: Information Architecture, User Interface, Design Systems, Case Studies. Schedule: * 2 ½ hour time commitment per week. * 9 weeks of coursework over 11 weeks. The course is structured as 3 weeks of facilitation, 1 week break, 3 weeks of facilitation, 1 week break, followed by 3 weeks of facilitation. * Please note that this part time and fixed term contract opportunity requires 1 hour of synchronous facilitation which takes place on Wednesdays at 8pm CST.
