About The Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced make-up artist for our upcoming project, 'Faces of X', specifically for the episode titled 'Faces of AI'. This series of short videos aims to explore various perspectives on divisive social issues, and in this particular episode, each perspective will be portrayed by the same individual. The make-up artist will be responsible for creating diverse looks that include wigs, fake mustaches, and other necessary make-up techniques to effectively represent the different characters and viewpoints outlined in the script. The project will involve approximately 12 distinct perspectives, requiring creativity and skill in transforming the same actor into multiple personas.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a make-up artist, particularly in film or video production.
• Strong skills in wig application and styling.
• Experience with special effects make-up, including the use of fake mustaches.
• Ability to work creatively and adaptively to meet the needs of the project.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on projects that address social issues or themes.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of make-up styles and character transformations.
• Knowledge of current trends in make-up and character design.

Responsibilities

• Create and apply make-up looks for various characters as per the script requirements.
