Key duties include conducting personal visits with families on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to provide research-based information on how children grow and develop so that parents can foster learning and nurture development. Candidates for this position are highly organized, are comfortable working with students and parents in a home environment and embody KCS core values of Respect, Compassion, Responsibility, Perseverance, Community, and Partnerships. We support students in their physical and emotional growth as well, valuing student identity and promoting and modeling high self-esteem and confidence. The FACE Parent Educator is supervised by the Assistant Director of Instruction who oversees the FACE Program at KCS. This position works closely with the FACE Program team to recruit families, schedule home visits, and deliver programming.
