About The Position

Out of the Woods Custom Cabinets is looking for a Face Frame Builder to join our production team in Layton, Utah. This role is responsible for building the face frames for cabinets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced cabinet shop environment working with woodworking equipment, hand tools, and production machinery.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions in English
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, or work orders
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

Nice To Haves

Experience operating woodworking or shop machinery
Previous cabinet shop, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing experience
Basic understanding of woodworking tools and shop practices

Responsibilities

Build and assemble cabinet face frames according to specifications
Set up and operate woodworking machines and shop equipment
Use hand tools and power tools to complete cabinet components
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
Measure materials accurately using tape measures and basic math calculations
Follow quality standards and safety procedures, including Safety Data Sheets and shop guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Report equipment issues or safety concerns to management immediately
Assist the assembly team or warehouse during slower production periods
Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations
