About The Position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrator for the Facilities Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System. Establish and maintain an inventory control system Provides administrative support to the director and department such as correspondences, scheduling appointments, etc. Handles visitors for the Facilities Maintenance Department File and archive, warranties, manuals, and specification sheets Orders materials and supplies as directed by the director Monitor profit & loss performance Processes purchasing orders Processes and code invoices to the Accounting department Processes employee paperwork to Human Resources and Accounting department Maintains all service agreements, W-9’s and Insurance for department vendors Schedule preventative maintenance with vendors Assist with Property Condition Assessments & corrective action plans Obtain quotes for repairs, services, and renovations Coordinate schedules for repairs, services, and renovations Assists with the preparation of reports Assists with budget preparation and changes Assist in repairs of facilities as needed Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years mechanical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years budgeting labor, expenditures, etc.
  • Ability to coordinate workload to meet deadlines
  • Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Courteous, congenial personality
  • General understanding of facility related codes and requirements
  • Minimum three to five years of administrative experience, including typing
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software
  • Must be willing to work when needed
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, stoop, and lift a maximum of 100 lbs
  • Valid GA driver’s license with a good record
