About The Position

The Level99 Fabricator at our Norwood, MA design + build production facility plays a pivotal role in bringing our innovative concepts to life, constructing high quality, engaging challenges and art pieces that define our brand’s world-class venues.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on fabrication experience, with strong woodworking skills and proficiency in scenic carpentry or custom fabrication for entertainment, theater, or themed environments.
  • Proficient in reading and building from engineering shop drawings, technical schematics, or creative concept sketches.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving project needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or maintaining UL listed control panels, or working in a UL certified fabrication environment
  • Past experience as an electrician, controls technician, or industrial electrical technician
  • Experience with DMX lighting systems, audio signal routing, or show control systems
  • Familiarity with low voltage electronics, relays, power supplies, and PLC or microcontroller based systems
  • Experience working with interactive installations, themed entertainment, or live event technology
  • Formal or informal training in fabrication, carpentry, or related trades (High School diploma, trade school, or equivalent experience).
  • Experience welding and working with metal for structural or decorative components.
  • Familiarity with CNC routers, laser cutters, or other digital fabrication tools.
  • Knowledge of scenic painting, texturing, or finishing techniques for themed environments.
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Working from engineered shop drawings, fabricate and assemble custom scenic elements, interactive props, and structural components for Level99’s entertainment challenges, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Contribute to prototyping and iterative development of new concepts during workshopping phases.
  • Prioritize personal and team safety by adhering to OSHA standards and Level99’s safety protocols during fabrication and installation.
