About The Position
Standard Iron is looking for skilled Fabricators to join our Architectural Metals Division. For over 80 years, we have delivered high-quality fabrication and erection services nationwide. You will perform complex weldments and layouts for architectural projects, including stairs and railings. Precision Layout: Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to lay out stairs and rail systems. High-Quality Welding: Execute diversified weldments using accurate AWS weld symbols. Technical Accuracy: Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure all components meet strict tolerances. Certification: Ability to certify to 3/8” plate (AWS D1.1) and 1G flat position.
Requirements
- Previous fabrication experience is required.
- Proficiency in reading architectural prints and interpreting AWS weld symbols.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a commitment to quality.
Nice To Haves
- Technical college degree
