About The Position
The position involves studying and interpreting blueprints, fabricating frameworks or shells for machinery and mineral processing equipment, and listening to directions from supervisors. Responsibilities include organizing all required parts and assembling tools and materials, interpreting measurements, verifying specifications, assembling components, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing repairs as needed. The role also requires ensuring a clean and safe working environment, completing quality control forms, and adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations. Preventive maintenance of equipment is essential, along with documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs across work shifts. The job may include cross-training in other areas at the company's discretion.
