Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year Associates Degree from accredited technical college is preferred, or equivalent experience
• One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mig/ Tig / Arc Welding
• Strong technical background; previous experience with welding/fabricating
• Minimum 3 years in heavy industrial environment
• New Hire Orientation, OSHA Required Training, Product and Process Overview, Understanding the Charter, Machine-specific training, 5S and TPM.

Nice To Haves

• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Small machining skills
• Welding courses, Computer skills; Basic Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible to assist and help repair production dies, fabricating tools, jigs and fixtures for the production areas to meet our customer production requirements.
