About The Position

We are hiring a fabricator to form part of our manufacturing division! You will work in the fabrication, assembly and preparation of various exterior metal fasteners/clips, exterior roofing trim, and panels. Daily tasks consist of using shop machinery and tools to cut, bend, weld, and polish metal to produce a final product. Candidates must have previous experience working with MIG & TIG welding. This is primarily a fabricator role but welding skills are a requirement. Benefits • Competitive wages • Health insurance (Partial employer paid premiums for employee and dependents) • Vacation & holiday pay • Vision & Dental insurance • Life Insurance • Gym membership access • Annual holiday celebration(s) • 401k w/company match • PPE provided • Opportunities for career advancement Daily Responsibilities • Work on various sheet metal fabrication projects by using machinery and equipment to cut, bend, and finish metal. • MIG & TIG welding with stainless steel and aluminum, high-quality and detailed projects • Operate shop machinery/equipment efficiently and safely: Autoshear, auto bender, press brake, CNC punch. • Detail and finishing work-polishing, grinding, etc. • Use various hand and power tools: sheet metal shears, grinders, sander, aluminum spool gun • Complete projects from start to finish within a given time frame Requirements • 2+ years experience with TIG AND MIG welding (GTAW & GMAW) (24 gauge-quarter inch) • Knows how to operate welding equipment, set appropriate welding parameters (e.g., heat, speed, electrode type) • Can pass a weld test and perform quality welds • Layout skills- precise marking and planning of metal components before cutting and assembly, accurate measuring, interpretation of blueprints, and design specifications • Has previously worked in a manufacturing/fabrication setting working with metal forming- preferably with sheet metal • Has reliable transportation • Willing to submit background check and drug test • Flexible schedule during busy seasons (overtime and weekends) • Preferred skills, but not required: can operate some or most of the following: CNC press breaks, CNC shears, CNC punch, saws, grinders, power tools. Requirements
