Requirements

Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and Procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups Of customers or employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units in measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, volume, area, percent and draw / interpret graphs.
Ability to use mig tig & stick welder, torch, hand and power tools, etc.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

Maintains and repairs all raw fruit processing equipment.
Maintains and repairs packagingequipment.
Rebuilds, repairs, and maintains equipment per specifications, pumps,gear boxes and varies drives, augers and conveyors.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
Analyzes problems related to equipment.
Sets up and starts equipment, lubricates machinery and parts, changes over equipment for product changes as required.
Performs light machinist duties, plumbing function – steam, water, air and hydraulics Also maintains general housekeeping
Maintains and repairs all raw fruit processing equipment
Must exercise the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must Conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner and be capable of dealing with other employees, including Supervisors and Leads.
