About The Position

As a Fabricator and Welder at Farber Specialty Vehicles, you will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, and assembly of specialty vehicles. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Reading blueprint layouts and engineering drawings. Fabricating materials to specifications. Laying out and building assemblies, including generators, slide-out rooms, and hydraulic leveling jacks. Setting up welding equipment.

Requirements

Competency with a variety of power tools such as drills, jig saws, rivet guns, etc.
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and a willingness to use personal protective equipment.
Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout a 10-hour shift.
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of machine operation, cutting, sawing, drilling, and grinding parts is desirable.
Experience using MIG and TIG equipment is a plus (not required for fabricators and installers).
A high sense of urgency to meet all production goals accurately.
While manufacturing experience is a plus, it is not required.
