About The Position
The position involves primary duties and responsibilities centered around welding and fabrication. The candidate will be required to perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding, demonstrating the ability to pass a weld test. Responsibilities also include fabricating production machinery according to prints or verbal instructions, creating jigs and fixtures for weldments, and installing new equipment and machinery. The role requires basic anchoring and rigging skills, as well as maintaining equipment and tools through inspections and preventive maintenance. A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is essential. The candidate must comply with all company and HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures, and should be prepared to work overtime and shifts as required. Physical demands include standing and walking for up to 12 hours daily and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Travel is minimal, less than 10%. Dependability, punctuality, and excellent attendance are crucial for this role.
