About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to work various shifts including weekends as required.
• Experience with carbon fiber material and composite structures.

• Experience with injection molding and ablative processing equipment.
• Strong math skills and technical training in fabrication processes.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school training in auto painting and precision masking.
• Prior experience as a fabricator on composite materials.
• Experience as a composite assembler.
• Previous fiberglass application with gel coat experience.

Responsibilities

• Applies finish protective coatings using spray guns and brushes.
• Cleans and prepares parts for painting and coating processes.
• Operates sandblaster or tumble blast equipment for material preparation.
• Fabricates and assembles production and prototype components using various materials.
• Sets up and operates injection molding machines and related controls.
• Monitors and adjusts production processes to ensure quality.
• Mixes paints and prepares surfaces for painting, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Performs touch-ups and rework as necessary.
