About The Position

OVERVIEW - Package Pavement Company, Inc., a manufacturer and licensee of QUIKRETE products in Stormville, NY is seeking an experienced fabricator/industrial mechanic to join our team. BENEFITS - We offer a competitive hourly wage and benefit package

Requirements

Vocational training a plus
Candidate will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
Two to five years’ experience working in industrial maintenance, including; pneumatics hydraulics
Must have own tools

Nice To Haves

Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams a plus.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain mechanical parts in our production plant and facilities, including; Conveyors, elevators, dryers, mixing tanks, screens, etc.
Inspect and troubleshoot machinery to determine cause of malfunction or extent of wear or damage
Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic components of electrical equipment using standard tools and gauges
Follow all OSHA safety regulations
Follow all company safety policies and procedures when performing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
Cuts and fits parts for assembly of new machinery and repair existing equipment.
Weld and cut using Oxygen/Acetylene process procedures.
Understands mechanics of equipment repairs and replacement of bearings, drives, and electrical motors.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams a plus.
