About The Position

SUMMARY: Performs a variety of functions dealing with machining and fabrication. The individual should be familiar with, and capable of, using various types of machining and fabrication machines. Required to perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific fabrication requirements.
  • Determines which machine to use and how to set up each job.
  • Operates and tends machines such as Lasers, plasmas, lathes, bridge ports, shears, saws, iron workers, drill presses, brake presses, pipe bender, and CNC to fabricate components to print.
  • Completes all weekly, daily, and monthly 5S tasks.
  • Performs Autonomous Maintenance as outlined for the machine.
  • Verifies dimensions of workpiece, per First Article Inspection procedure
  • Removes burrs and sharp edges from parts
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
