About The Position

A Fabricator 1 is responsible for assisting in the fabrication of components used in the production of HVAC systems. Fabricator 1’s will get hands-on experience in fabrication techniques and processes while working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced fabricators and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate production of high-quality components that meet company standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or fabrication preferred
  • Basic understanding of fabrication techniques and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver materials as needed
  • Stand continuously, 8+ hours
  • Kneel, crouch occasionally
  • Climb Ladder occasionally
  • Lift from floor to waist occasionally
  • Lift from waist to shoulder occasionally
  • Lift overhead occasionally
  • Lift 0 – 25lbs frequently
  • Lift 25 – 50lbs occasionally
  • Lift 50 – 75lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Learns and champions all safety procedures.
  • Learns to maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Participates actively in training programs to develop fabrication skills.
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assists in the development and improvement of the fabrication process.
  • Takes initiative to problem solve.
  • Operates machines according to proper procedures to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication of components under supervision.
  • Follows quality standards to ensure the production of high-quality components.
  • Learns to read engineering tape and fabrication tolerances to 1/32nd of an inch.
  • Learns to operate shear, log information, and quality checking product.
  • Learns to read and understand gauges and types of materials.
  • All other duties assigned.
