Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Read and interpret bills of materials (BOM) and blueprints Check sheet metal and sheet metal components against BOM and blueprints to confirm that raw material and finished components are correct Follow production schedule as assigned Call up appropriate program and set-up Laser to meet drawing specifications Operate Laser Machine Change tooling as required Operate break press Operate grinder to deburr parts Label all parts with part numbers and serial numbers Check dimensions such as gauge, height and width, holes and cut-outs against print Observe all company rules and policies, i.e. safety, attendance Participate and work in a team atmosphere Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship Responsible for keeping work area(s) clean and free of clutter during work time and at the end of shift 5S time Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
