About The Position
The person in this role will be a hands-on and customer-focused Fabrication Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor systems and other material handling automation equipment. The role involves mechanical and electrical diagnostics and educating customers on equipment functionality. Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to safety and quality are essential
Requirements
- Highschool or GED equivalent required
- 1+ years fabrication and related experience
- Customer service and good communication skills
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills helpful
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair conveyor and other specialty equipment
- Install a variety of material handling equipment
- Educate customers on service features and functionality
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills helpful
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned
