About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Fabrication technician will fabricate parts and perform aircraft sheet metal and composite repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma with at least 0-2 years of experience
• Ability to obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Utilize detailed blueprints to layout pieces to be fabricated and installed.
• Layout and fabricate aircraft parts such as ribs, stringers, doublers, etc. using standard sheet metal and composite repair techniques and measuring tools such as calipers, dial calipers and scales.
• Utilize fabrication machines including drill press, band saw, chop saw, bending breaks and shears.
• Must be able to hold tolerances.
• Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
