Fabrication Support (Deburring, Day Shift)

About The Position

Key Obsessions: Ensure accurate material movement Transport fabricated parts using parts carts to the next operation in the fabrication process. Accurately record part movement in ERP system to maintain inventory integrity. Verify part quantities and labels before movement to prevent errors in downstream operations. Monitor and communicate any material shortages, delays, or discrepancies to the appropriate team members. Finishing and Cleaning operations Perform deburring, polishing, passivation and straightening processes to meet quality standards. Perform cleaning operations on raw materials to prepare them for fabrication. Inspect finished and cleaned parts to verify they meet visual and dimensional requirements. Maintain finishing and cleaning equipment, reporting wear or issues to ensure consistent performance. Handle raw materials accurately Accurately move raw materials between warehouses using the ERP system. Safety operate forklifts to transport materials and assist with loading and unloading trucks. Verify raw material identification, quantities, and heat numbers to ensure correct usage in fabrication. Store materials in designated locations to maintain organization, traceability, and safe warehouse conditions. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift
Observant with attention to detail
Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software
Proficient keyboarding skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Conscientious of meeting and exceeding internal and external customers needs
Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

Previous shipping, receiving, and inventory experience preferred
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful
