About The Position

Brenton is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee evening fabrication operations. This role will monitor and prioritize daily workloads, coach and develop team members, and conduct performance reviews. Strong knowlege of fabrication processes and procedures is essential. Assigns work to employees and monitors workflow. Oversee and assist employees with questions. Involved in employee training and development. Involved in the interviewing process. Work with Fabrication Manager on quality standards and the continuous improvement of products and processes. Set up and run machines and fabrication equipment. Know proper application of tooling. Order tooling when needed. Capable of reading and understanding blueprints. Capable of hand layout and drilling. Familiar with all opearations of the following machines: cnc machines, saw, mill, lathe, sheet metal equipment, welding and paint system. Completes other tasks as assigned by manager. Requirements

Strong knowledge of machining and fabrication equipment.
Good communication skills.
Team player.

Nice To Haves

Two year technical degree preferred.
Two years supervisory experience helpful, but not required.
