About The Position

H2O Innovation is calling all mechanically inclined people who love working on a broad range of projects, the Fabrication Specialist
position is for you. Our next colleague will hold a permanent & full-time position at the Champlin, MN plant. You will be asked to perform a wide variety of assembly tasks and will learn maintenance technician and millwright skills.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of related work experience
• Ability to read technical plans
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous
• Be organized, rigorous and meticulous
• Must be able lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs
• Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and internal and external clients

Nice To Haves

• Personal tools is a plus, but not a must

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble pipes, equipment, instruments, and valves to frame structures with fasteners ranging from 10-32 to 1” diameter bolts and equipment up to 50 lbs
• Glue PVC pipe assemblies ranging from ½” to 12” pipe diameter
• Measure, cut, drill, and tap steel frames and PVC pipes
• Cut & thread stainless steel pipe
• Respect the project timeline
• Ensure a good quality product by using your attention to detail
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Respect and follow safety regulations
