About The Position

The Fabrication Sales Associate role is a hybrid position that combines sales support, estimating, and project processing. The associate will work closely with the general manager and interact with various stakeholders including office administration, management, production personnel, customers, and suppliers. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a blend of customer interaction, technical analysis, and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and deadlines with high degree of accuracy.
• Customer service or administrative experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to build rapport with customers & suppliers.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes through work experience in manufacturing: metal fabrication and machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage and track multiple responsibilities.
• Understanding sales processes and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Project Management team.
• Monitor project costs, statuses, and schedules.
• Identify resource constraints and project risks.
• Maintain work areas and equipment in clean and orderly conditions, following prescribed safety regulations inside and outside plants.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Meet with key customer contacts to establish and maintain relationships, tackle open issues, negotiate and close open issues along with open contracts.
• Establish new contacts and customers through communication and customer relations.
• Able to quote, estimate and purchase.
