Requirements

• Qualified candidates must be available to work Monday, Friday, and Saturday
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• A knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with email communications
• Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• This is an hourly, management support position.
• Must be available to work holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for monitoring product quality.
• Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are stationed at the end of production lines where they inspect various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications.
• Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for knowing the product specifications for the line they are working on and filling out an audit report form.
• Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians must also follow and help enforce plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
• Other Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician responsibilities include metal detector auditing and testing trim for E.coli, via N60 sampling.
• Other duties as assigned.
