Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.  Job PurposeMust be qualified to set up and operate a combination of the following machinery:  Accurpress Brake Press, Shear, Stencil & Laser fabricated sheet metal parts to specified dimensional tolerances.

Requirements

  • Must be qualified to set up and operate a combination of the following machinery: Accurpress Brake Press, Shear, Stencil & Laser fabricated sheet metal parts to specified dimensional tolerances.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED; or one to three months related experience and/ or training); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Employee must have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts for defects from previous operations
  • The employee must be able to satisfactorily perform all duties and responsibilities referenced in the work instructions for the piece of equipment being operated
