About The Position
C-Tech Corporation, Inc. has been installing guardrail, bridge and handrail systems, impact attenuators, fence, sheet signs and monuments in Indiana since 1985. C-Tech’s corporate office is in Shelby County, Indiana. Professional Summary Results-driven Fabrication Plant Manager with over 10 years of experience in fabrication management and estimating. Proven leader with strong operational expertise, process improvement skills, and a deep understanding of production scheduling, quality control, and plant administration. Experienced in overseeing teams, maintaining compliance standards, integrating advanced tooling technologies, and optimizing facility layouts for efficiency and growth
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in fabrication management and estimating
- Strong expertise in fabrication processes and plant operations
- Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary shop teams
- Experience implementing process improvements and technology integration
Responsibilities
- Oversee all production and scheduling activities to ensure on-time project delivery
- Maintain daily communication with Shop Foreman to align workflow and priorities
- Supervise quality control processes in coordination with Shop Foreman
- Lead plant hiring initiatives, including recruitment and onboarding of skilled personnel
- Maintain AISC certification compliance and documentation
- Develop and implement new estimating processes for fabrication projects to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Lead integration of software systems for robotic tooling operations
- Design and oversee production layout for development of new facility
- Track work hours against budget to ensure cost control and operational efficiency
- Manage purchasing of steel materials and vendor relationships
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding production status, budgets, and operational updates
- Directly lead Shop Foreman and six Welding Technicians
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
