The Role - Fabrication Journeyman Electrician As a Fabrication Journeyman Electrician, you'll be working hands-on in a dynamic environment, helping us transform raw materials into high-quality products that keep our operations running smoothly. Your role will be essential in ensuring the finished product meets Suburban Enterprises’ high standards for quality and precision by possessing the ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics to ensure each project is completed correctly.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of prior experience in fabrication and/or electrical work.
  • Licensure: a Journeyman’s license is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are key—your careful eye will help maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: If you enjoy working with your hands and have a basic understanding of machines and tools, you’re already on the right track.
  • Team Spirit: You’ll be working with a crew that thrives on collaboration, so being a good communicator and team player is essential.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods—this job will keep you on your toes!
  • Safety Conscious: We prioritize safety, so a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is a must.

  • Licensure: a Journeyman’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate & Assemble: Work with cutting-edge tools and equipment to fabricate parts and components for a variety of products. Keen eye for basic to complex assembly.
  • Tech-Savvy Work: Manages the movement, organization, and storage of materials with precision and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products, testing components to ensure they meet the quality standards.
  • Teamwork: Delegate tasks to Tech I’s and assists as needed.
  • Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
