About The Position

The Fabrication Helper supports sheet metal fabrication operations by handling materials, assisting with part processing, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout the department. This role is essential in ensuring smooth production flow and a safe, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
• Good communication and reliability

Responsibilities

• Perform "shake-out" operations to remove, separate, and organize sheet metal parts
• Retrieve and transport materials throughout the fabrication department
• Prepare sheet metal parts for various production processes
• Dispose of sheet metal scrap properly and safely
• Support and maintain efficient material flow across the department
• Communicate effectively with team members to support production orders
• Assist operators and skilled personnel as needed
• Provide support in handling large or heavy parts
• Report part or equipment defects to supervisor promptly
• Complete assigned work within required timelines and specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned
