About The Position

Apache Workforce is hiring Fabrication Helpers to support skilled welders, fitters, and fabrication teams in a manufacturing shop environment. This role focuses on assisting with material preparation, basic shop support tasks, and maintaining an efficient and organized production area. Fabrication Helpers play an important support role in ensuring workflow efficiency, safety, and material readiness for skilled trades teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in fabrication, construction, or industrial environments preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-based environment
• Basic familiarity with hand tools and shop equipment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to perform physical labor and handle materials safely
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Nice To Haves

• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus (not required for all assignments)

Responsibilities

• Supporting welders, fitters, and fabrication teams with daily production tasks
• Preparing raw materials by cleaning, measuring, and staging components
• Moving, organizing, and handling materials throughout the shop
• Assisting with basic tool operation under supervision
• Helping maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Following instructions, blueprints, and production guidance as directed
• Performing basic inspection of materials before fabrication use
• Supporting general shop operations as needed
• Following all safety procedures and PPE requirements
