About The Position
Uzelac Industries Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fabrication Estimator / Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in estimating and bidding fabrication work, particularly for targeted manufacturers outside of our primary offerings of rotary dryers. The responsibilities of this role include making cold and warm calls to potential clients, maintaining a CRM-like bid log to forecast future projects, and conducting follow-ups and analyses on lost projects to understand market margin requirements. Additionally, the candidate will analyze and identify high probability customers and industries for future targeted sales efforts. The successful candidate will have experience in reviewing fabrication drawings in various formats to accurately estimate project costs. They will also possess business-to-business customer-facing experience, ideally in a sales capacity. The role requires the ability to travel overnight for customer visits and trade shows out of state, as well as a strong desire to work in a close-knit, family-owned business environment. The candidate should be organized, proactive in asking for sales, and capable of understanding customer-supplied Bills of Materials (BOMs) to create internal BOMs. At Uzelac Industries, we pride ourselves on our employee and family-oriented culture, and we are committed to improving our team through various training opportunities and certificate programs.
