The Fabrication coordinator will be a vital member of the facility, responsible for completion of operational dashboards, reporting, facilitating annual core training, managing Gemba schedule, attendance tracking and coordinating other related tasks within the facility.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Team player that supports the common goals of the team to meet all processing service level agreements.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment (organize, multi-task & prioritize, while keeping a focus on short- and long-term objectives)
  • Detail oriented and high level of accuracy to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to organize complex events, coordinating many factors for successful execution.
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership in managing Gemba walk schedule and action items.
  • Facilitate completion of operational dashboards for performance measuring and reporting
  • Assist leadership in supporting new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Track and facilitate annual core training for all staff.
  • Coordinate and organize seminars and meetings.
  • Track new hire module completion (to ensure compliance of 30-60- 90 days)
  • Assisting leadership in the management, reduction, and tracking of returns and redo’s with process improvements and reporting at Monthly Returns Meetings
  • Create and administer Employee Recognition programs.
  • Assist leadership in coordinating facility improvements.
  • Support meetings (schedule invites, distribute minutes, etc.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory control based on operational standards (Operational Excellence)
  • Provide support to fabrication department as needed (e.g. occasionally fabricate devices)
  • Assist leadership in receiving and screening incoming customer service communications, answering questions, researching and resolving problems and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist the customer success team by initiating contact with internal customers (Clinicians) and assisting with improving relationships by identifying potential issues before they arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
